Bonney Lake Baby Photographer ~ Irresistible

Sometimes I feel like being a Bonney Lake baby photographer is like hitting the jack pot at the zoo.  You know when you go to the zoo and there are lots of new baby animals.  Everyone is crowded around the windows.  Everyone wants desperately to be the Keeper who is bottle feeding the cute little panda bear.  Everyone is oohing and Awing.  I’m thinking that it is not just me that feels like getting to see these new little miracles is pretty special, judging by the way videos of baby animals go viral on You Tube and Facebook.

I get to one up that once in a “trip to the zoo” experience.  I see babies every week.  My favorite time to see them is during their sitting months.  They are just so perfect then.  Baby Ben had a smile that took up half his sweet face.  He was full of giggles.  I love this picture of him because his stance just makes me think of a baby bear cub.  To die for cuteness right here.  Yup….being a baby photographer is the bomb!

Auburn Baby Photographer ~ Reflection Of You

I love this little family.  I have been the Auburn baby photographer for several years now as they have welcomed two sweet baby boys into their family.  When I look at my calender and see them on the schedule it always makes me look forward to my week!  We did a mirror set with their first little guy, so I wanted to be sure to do one with little Cameron.  You have to be quick with these shots.  Even though I warm the mirror up, little people don’t take fondly to sitting on the glass.  It is always just a little too cold.  The first shot with my camera was a look of total betrayal.  He definitely wanted to be back in the wagon with the teddy bears.  But a good photographer knows how to make magic anyways.  (visualize me patting myself on the back here)  I love this shot.  I love those deep eyes and chubby cheeks.  Emmalee and Robert, I hope you have a family busting at the seems with your wonderful children;-))))

Seattle Maternity Photographer ~ Nesting

I love being a Seattle maternity photographer.  I get to meet women in the primes of their lives.  This beautiful mom to be and I where able to bond over our love of beautiful baby things.  I think one of the funnest things about being pregnant is when that nesting gene kicks in full swing and you are given full permission to start hording beautiful things for your baby.  Nasim had the most gorgeous outfits, shoes and snugglies already picked out for her soon to come princess.  It is this hand picking of treasures that I miss.  You never know what will be come a family heirloom.  With each of my babies I carefully selected a toy, a blanket and a coming home from the hospital outfit.  All of which are stored carefully away in their own personal boxes.  I love when they begged me to get them out to peek at their baby things.  It is always a nostalgic moment.  And let’s face it, us women….we eat that up!  I am so excited to see her when she comes back with her baby girl so that we can get some lovely newborn portaits to add to those special heirlooms.

Lacey Newborn Photographer ~ Christmas Baby

I can remember a Christmas seven years ago when I sat by our Christmas tree feeling the spirit of Christmas more than I have ever felt it before.  I was sore, tired and a little stressed about creating Christmas magic for three children who needed to feel it even more fully that year.  The source of warmth, happiness, love and every good thing lay sleeping in my arms.  Our baby Sara was making this Christmas more magical than any tradition could.

Fewer babies are born around Christmas than an other holiday.  I think parents worry about conflicting and competing celebrations.  It is not true.  Christmas is all about the arrival of babies.  It all begun with the birth of a baby boy.  A truly magical night.  There is no better way to celebrate Christmas than with a sweet baby of your own in your arms, cooing at you and making you feel like everything is perfectly right in the world.

I am so excited for this little guys family.  They have been blessed with the best Christmas gift of all.  A healthy baby boy.  Merry Christmas!
