It isn’t often that I have a family hire me to be their Lacey newborn photographer.  Having to come through base traffic is daunting, I should know.  My family lived in Dupont for several years and there was nothing that could coax me onto the freeway during rush hour.  Hopefully the times that I schedule to have newborn sessions at the studio make the drive a little easier since I have clients come after the heat of the rush.  Honestly though when you want something badly enough you will do anything.  And I truly hope that clients, like this wonderful family, that hire me to take portraits of their brand new baby girl love my work enough to make the drive.

Liv’s Session

I was so excited to see the S family again in my portrait studio.  I photographed their son a few years ago.  Seeing babies that I have photographed all grown up is a special treat.  Liv’s mom had worked out with me a color scheme for her session.  Pretty mauves and purples and creams.  It was such a perfect Holiday pallet.  Of course we sneaked in a few Christmas themed portraits as well.  You have to do that when you are lucky enough to be blessed with a Christmas baby!  Liv was such a good little girl and her brother was so wonderful cooperative that I was able to take several sibling shots that I know mom is going to love.
