When you were a kid did you dream about being a twin.  Having a sibling that you were “connected” to; a sister that would always have your back.  I did and as a brand new wife I was so excited about the thought of having twins.  And then I had a baby.  And now I wonder how parents of multiples ever survive!  Sure there is double the pleasure and double the fun, but also double the feedings and diapers.   Thank goodness for moments like a newborn photography session where parents of twins can sit back and enjoy their babies.  I am super excited to deliver portraits like this one with both babies ASLEEP, so that mom can remember that it does happen;-)  All silliness aside I am super excited for this family.  These little ladies will surely be very loved and treasured!

Two faces to wash, and four dirty hands
Two insistent voices, making demands
Twice as much crying, when things go wrong
The four eyes closing, with slumber song
Twice as many garments, blowing on the line
Two cherubs in the wagon, soaking up sunshine
Work I do for twins, naturally comes double
But four arms to hug me, repay all my trouble.
